My drinks have balls and yours can too

I will be the first one to admit after a LONG line of others who have had to eat my cooking that my time spent in the kitchen is not time well spent. I can’t cook and as many times as people say, “I don’t know why you find it so difficult just follow the recipe.” I say, “watch me !@$$ it up no matter how simple the culinary endeavor.”

That being said, I do assert myself in more passive aggressive ways… take for instance ice cubes. I am a master; a Ninja and my “mad skills” are known in far off lands. Actually I just have a thing for nice formed ice in my drink and the Devil Spawn that calls itself an ice-maker in my UNNAMED refrigerator simply can’t live up to my expectations.  Hence my second line of defense…

The Easy Peasy Ice Tray. Go ahead make fun of the name but the power is in her simplicity. Pop your ice cubes out of the mold like fresh peas!

This quirky ice tray allows you to create perfectly spherical ice balls to complement your favorite cocktail.  Connect the 2 sides of the tray and fill with water through the holes. Place the trays in the freezer (holes facing up!) and within a few hours you will be able to pop the ice balls straight out into your drink!

Call me crazy (and many have) but the perfect drink needs BALLS and mine have them…

Note: to create perfect spheres of ice, ensure all the air escapes from the holes as you fill the tray. (This tip makes me feel like the Julia Childs of ice balls)
